PASS LABS | PURE AUDIO PROJECT (PAP) | MOJO AUDIO | FIDELIUM
It was good to see Ze’ev, Benjamin, and Jeffrey. They were all in the best of spirits. The system that they had together assembled was assembled from Pass Labs, Mojo Audio, Fidelium components ( list below)
The system was unimposing and, in fact, very modest and simple. The music on hand, however, was quite good, in that it was organic, though some would say natural, very musical, with rather good center-fill which made for an ease of listening and being drawn into the music, that some of the larger and much more expensive rooms/systems could not match.
They took my request of Christian McBrides’ “Fat Back and Green” (xxx) a piece that I know quite well. The the PAP Duet 15’s disappeared, the stage was broad and deep, and there was good articulation and the dynamics were also quite good.
This room represented what was a very interesting phenomenon, which was that several small rooms had orchestrated wonderful systems that the bigger rooms could not match, with a rare exception here and there. This room was one of those rooms and got high points from me to easily being one of the best sounds of the show.
