ACORA
The Acora room was teaming with exceptional gear that would find its signal beautifully broadcast via the Acora SRC-2 2.5-way Floorstanding Loudspeaker. The SRC 2.5 while seemingly diminutive, for the size of the room, had no problem filling the room with excellent music.
The Acora system encompassed a wealth of sources inclusive of the INNUOS STATEMENT Streamer, the Oracle Delphi MkVI Signature Turntable, and the MSB Reference DAC. Amplification was provided by VAC via its Signature Mk IIa SE Preamplifier and its Master 300 iQ Musicbloc™ Power Amplifier. All fed the Acora SRC-2 2.5 speakers.
The sound of the VAC/Kora system with its various reference source components was transparent, well resolved, with one of the broadest soundstages at the show. I asked Issac Markowitz to stream Delfayo Marsalis’ “The Secret Love Affair” of his The Last Southern Gentleman album, which I’ve become very familiar with. The stage was wide and had great depth, the sound was natural, immersive, the were drums alive, and wonderfully resolved. And this was in a show room! Must review the Acora SRC-2 2.5 as these petite little gems brought the music or ‘threw down.’ This was a definite Best of Show room.
