MONTREAL AUDIOFEST

The YAMAHA system was a walk down memory lane and was composed of a system which brought together the GT-5000 turntable, C-5000 preamplifier, M-5000 amplifier, and the NS-5000 speakers, which completed its reference system.

There were numerous static displays of various YAMAHA components and it was good to see the longstanding company displaying a host of products.

The sound via the GT-5000 turntable in the mix was textured, musical, and sweet, though with a steady influx of folks in and out. And it was, perhaps, not practical to ask for a given stream of music as there did not appear to be a streaming device. Next time.
