GRIMM AUDIO MU2 STREAMING/DAC/PREAMP - REVIEW
The Grimm Audio MU2 as a complete streaming DAC is unparalleled in its ability to render one’s music in a way that is technically superb, while bringing unquestioned musicality that rivals some of the best and most expensive analog rigs.
BAETIS AUDIO REFERENCE 4 MINGO STREAMER - REVIEW
The Baetis Audio Reference 4 Mingo demonstrated the ability to be more “alive,” more real, and more natural than any digital component should have a right to be. Furthermore, it is the only streamer to have relegated to obscurity the best of the best CD players, which a short time ago I did not believe possible.
LYRIC Ti 100 MKII INTEGRATED (SET) - REVIEW
The tone and timbre of the Lyric Ti 100 MkII brings both naturalness and spot on realism to bear with regard to, literally, any instrument it renders, in addition to accuracy. In this respect it is the place where natural and beautiful and high fidelity find great synergy.
THE DAN CLARK CORINA - REVIEW
For a long time, I had thought the STAX SR-X9000 as the ‘jewel in the electrostatic crown’ so to speak. I do not think about the STAX SR-X9000 that way anymore. Since reviewing the Dan Clark CORINA, I would be exceedingly happy to live with it instead. Bravo!
VIVID AUDIO KAYA 45 - REVIEW
The Vivid Audio Kaya 45s came in with little expectation from me. They sat patiently while the other in-house speakers were put through their paces. And when their turn came, well, they astonished and continue to astonish. Additionally, the Kaya raised the bar of performance and award citation for not only speakers but all other equipment as well. No small task. And this speaks to the profound abilities of the Vivid Audio Kaya 45.
SILENT ANGEL BONN NX AND GENESIS GX - REVIEW
If what you seek is the next level with regard to effectively diminishing jitter and its attendant troublesome gremlins to a state of dramatic unnoticeability (‘shake-free’), you may wish to look no further than the Silent Angel Bonn NX Network Switch and the Silent Angel Genesis GX Word Clock combo.
TRI-ART OPEN 5 - REVIEW
The TRI-ART OPEN 5 at $7500 is a game changer in that it will challenge, easily, speakers at multiples upon multiples of its price. All one need do to achieve this, is to feed it sufficient, well enabled power to bring it to life (100 watts+)!
