ATMA-SPHERE CLASS D AMPLIFIER - REVIEW
From old favourites Wolf Alice and Waxahatchee to new crushes Ludwig Göransson and Duo Deloro, the Atma–Sphere Class D is a class act. When I was away cooking in the kitchen, they would draw me in and invite me to sit a spell and listen. They made for a difficult review because all I wanted to do was let go of my analytical side and enjoy my catalogue of best–loved tracks and albums.
HEADAMP CFA3 HEADPHONE AMP - REVIEW
The HeadAmp CFA3 is a truly exceptional headphone amplifier and, dare I say, there are no other such headphone amplifiers that can compete at easily twice its price, if not far more. Its impressive 15-watts of power into 50-ohms allow it to easily drive even the most inefficient headphone on the planet, with headroom to spare.
ALLNIC L-10,000 SIGNATURE EDITION - REVIEW
For those in the market for a state-of-the-art linestage, we strongly recommend, if not insist, that it would be prudent to take a listen to the Allnic L-10,000 Signature Edition It will open an astute audiophile’s ears to what is capable at the highest levels of tube preamplification.
CANOR DAC 2.10 - REVIEW
The Slovakian brand Canor has made its presence known over the past several years, and the DAC 2.10 is a world-class source component, regardless of topology. But the fact that Canor pays fanatical attention to detail, even designing their own boards, and has found a way to incorporate a flawless tube output stage with their digital design, makes the DAC 2.10 a unique and highly desirable digital source component.
AIR-TIGHT ATC-5S & ATM -1E - REVIEW
The Air Tight ATC-5s preamplifier and the ATM-1s amplifier provide an “old school meets new school” approach to rendering one’s music, which, as earlier mentioned, results in lush and beautifully textured music that is spatially astute, with superb transparency, resolution, detail, and brilliant musicality.
ALLNIC M-3000 Mk 3 MONO BLOCK AMPLIFIER - REVIEW
The Allnic M-3000 Mk 3 KT170-based mono amps are simply everything an audiophile could hope for from tube-based power amplifiers The sonic palette is complete in every way and checks every conceivable box. There is power to spare, reliable and hassle-free performance, and most importantly, breathtaking musical performance. The sound is also customizable via tube rolling, and on the fly pentode or triode mode switching.
ATMA-SPHERE GEM INTEGRATED & “HEADPHONE AMP”- REVIEW
The little Integrated/HPA that could and did might well be the title for this review, as the Atma-Sphere GEM was exemplary with all material that was streamed its way. Further, as a “converted” HPA, it dealt beautifully with perhaps one of the most demanding and least efficient, yet superb headphones—the HIFIMAN Susvara (83dB)—that I have had the pleasure to listen with and review.
