AUDIO NOTE UK
I have long known of AUDIO NOTE UK and its penchant for sublime musicality and nuance, completely bereft of the bling, bling, bling of systems that would move one for a moment and yet fatigue one for a lifetime. That is clearly not AUDIO NOTE UK’s modus operandi and for many years it has brought forth my gratitude and appreciation.
The music in the AUDIO NOTE room was brimming with remarkable resolution, that brought the Hi-Hats alive and gave them a rather startling agility. There was also a superb depth of soundstage given the small room and instruments were well defined in space. Impressive.
However, when Vincent begin his musical demonstration with cello as accompaniment to a previously recorded movement, of this own creation, the level of engagement, one’s understanding of the near seamless musicality, and the enjoyment was absolute. It was, perhaps, one of the most beautiful moments of the Toronto Audiofest.
The responsible system as listed below

I’d like to thank Audio Note UK for their kindness and quite subtly convincing this Editor that a visit was, indeed, required. They could not have been more correct and the experience could not have been more enjoyable.
While there were but a few Best Sounds of the Show, the AUDIO NOTE UK room was clearly one of those rooms responsible for the best sound and a quite memorable live, musical experience. Bravo.
