There is one thing that you can always count on in a GTT Audio room and that is superb music. Suffice to say, that the tradition continued in GTT Audio’s big room which featured Top-of-the-Line components from Kronos, Audionet, Vivid, Mola Mola, and Grimm Audio to name a few.
The resultant music was immersive, possessed of every technical and musical bonafide that one imagines, and within the confines of a hotel room! This in and of itself is a major accomplishment and especially so for a big system, which can often overload a room and thus force listeners out. This is a thing that does not happen in GTT Audio rooms, actually the reverse happens—you are drawn deeply in to the music, which provides exceptional resolution, outstanding transparency, and a naturalness and ease and quiet that are very difficult to leave. This is a constant occurence for me with GTT.
As always it was good to see Bill and Dick, both with a ready smile, the consummate professionals (much missed in this day and age), who are always kind and very welcoming. One of the few big rooms which easily demonstrated what it takes to consistently be a Best of the Show candidate, which the GTT Audio Room was again, easily.
