GTT AUDIO - BEST SOUND OF SHOW

The GTT Audio room as per usual was exhibiting exceptional components and exceptional sound. The components with which we have become very familiar are those of the superb Mola Mola line, Grimm Audio’s world renown MU1 streamer, in our reference system, the Vivid Audio Line, with the Kaya 45 also in our reference system, and the outstanding Kubala-Sosna cables, which are strewn throughout both of our reference systems.

The diminutive Giya G4s2 fed by the Mola Mola gear and the Grimm Audio MU1, with Kubala-Sosna connecting things up were holding down the show! There was a distortion-free clarity, boundless dynamics and transparency, and a foundational bass response that not only belied the size/ability of the Giya G4s2, but its performance pushed it well past behemoth-sized speakers littered throughout the show.

Suffice to say that the overall sound of the GTT Audio room was outstanding. I am constantly amazed by the Vivid Audio line and the ability of its various speakers to level-up and outperform speakers at multiples of its price! And given the various sizes of the Vivid Audio speakers, they range from apartment studio friendly to flat friendly to home and luxurious Mansion friendly. Did I mention the ‘profoundly’ deep bass of the quite small (39” in height) Giya G4s2 speaker?

Bill Parish, Dick Diamond, and Joe Kubala, as per usual, were the definitive gentlemen and a pleasure to spend time with. Perhaps one reason that I often spend a good deal of time in their rooms.

After listening to music in the various rooms, across the show, it was evident that the GTT Audio room was, without a doubt, the Best Room giving the Best Sound of the Show. And mind you, Bill Parish sets up his rooms without room treatment, without expensive racks, and without power conditioners! Think about that for a minute.
