PURE AUDIO PROJECT DUET 15 - REVIEW
So now you can see that the Duet15 is a two–way design. The aforementioned whizzer cone should narrowcast high frequencies, but does it? Is the Duet15 as dark as I’ve come to expect from a full range transducer? Well, yes and no.
BOENICKE AUDIO W8 - REVIEW
If I had a magic lantern housing a benevolent and easily amused djinn and asked her for the boon of a high performance loudspeaker in a handsome family-friendly package…Abracadabra, a pair of W8s would miraculously appear! Not only would my wish be granted, but I’d have to give props to my genie for her astute good taste.
ACELEC MODEL ONE SPEAKERS - REVIEW
The Acelec Model One monitors are high performance in the truest sense of the word. Their incredible accuracy, over the top build quality, impressive musical focus make it difficult to find any fault.
SCANSONIC MB2.5 B - REVIEW
Looking for a high performing loudspeaker with a sophisticated air and a small envelope? The Danes have a way with transducers, and the folk at Scansonic HD may have just what you’ve been searching for.
QLN ONE SPEAKER - REVIEW
The Qln One monitor is a beautifully designed stand mount that offers elegance in its sonic presentation, and class in its physical appearance. It is clear the Qln One should be matched with well chosen amplification and cables, as this will pay dividends. The more transparent the source, the more the One will rise to the occasion.
THE SPENDOR A2 Speakers - REVIEW
Perhaps the ultimate strengths of the Spendor A2 are imaging and coherence. To our ears, everything just sounds correctly sorted out. No furrowed brows, and no areas of the frequency spectrum that felt under served. The A2 are a great example of what makes two way speakers so appealing, and that is the seamless, articulate presentation of music.
THE GOLD NOTE A3 EVO II Speakers - REVIEW
I can sum up the Gold Note A3 EVO monitors by saying they occupy that rare territory where recording accuracy and musical satisfaction interact. This is generally never an easy task from a designer’s standpoint. However, Gold Note has done it here. For those who have had their interest piqued, but who have large rooms, it would be a very good idea to audition the Gold Note floor-standing models. In our opinion, at around the $5000 mark per pair, the A3 EVO is a superb value.
